Embedded Analytics

Share Power BI reports with everyone who needs them.

With AiDi Embedded, staff, franchisees or customers see your reports in your own branded portal, with no Power BI licence for each viewer.

How it works

AiDi Embedded shows your reports through Power BI Embedded, on your own Microsoft Fabric (F) or Power BI Embedded (A) capacity. Viewers sign in to your portal and never open the Power BI service, so they need no Power BI licence of their own. The people who publish the reports still need Power BI Pro or Premium Per User.

What it does

  • Your portal, your brand. Your logo, colours and banner, on your own domain.
  • Access by Microsoft Entra security groups, each mapped to whole workspaces or to single reports.
  • Row-level security. Each group carries the report’s roles, so every viewer sees only their rows.
  • Many organisations in one portal, each kept apart, with roles from administrator to viewer.
  • Report subscriptions. A report’s PDF by email or WhatsApp every day, and a PDF whenever someone asks.
  • Refreshes and activity. Admins refresh datasets and dataflows and see the refresh history and activity logs.

What you need

An Azure subscription, a Power BI tenant and a Fabric (F) or Power BI Embedded (A) capacity. Microsoft bills the capacity on your own subscription; an A capacity is billed by the hour and can be paused. Microsoft’s guide to embedded capacity
